This mural is a modular, geometric system inspired by the energy and

spirit of Katy Mills. The color palette consisting the oranges, blues, and

creams was taken from the mall’s architecture and built a repeatable

pattern that feels playful, modern, and welcoming. The approach was to

design something that stands out visually from far away but also rewards

close-up viewing through smaller shapes and icons.
